Legion Week is celebrated every year the week before Canada Day to pay tribute to the valued and long-standing service of Legionnaires and members of the Ladies' Auxiliaries of the Royal Canadian Legion.
The provincial government proclaimed the six-day period preceding Canada Day - as Legion Week as a tribute to the work of The Royal Canadian Legion in B.C. and the Yukon.
Since this proclamation, Branch 35 has paid tribute by providing services to the community and by bringing awareness of what the legion has to offer to veterans and the community.
